Endocrine disrupters are ubiquitous in our environment, yet we still know very little about the consequences of these chemicals - especially on behavior and the brain. I am using an animal model of prenatal exposure to DEHP, one type of endocrine disrupter, to determine the potential effects on the stress response and social behaviors in the offspring. This would be a critical step towards a better understanding of DEHP and how it may affect human development.
