The histopathological signatures of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) include extracellular β-amyloid (Aβ) plaques and neurofibrillary tangles generated from the microtubule-associated protein tau. Among the various forms of Aβ, low-n-oligomers are believed to be the most cytotoxic. My investigations are centered on understanding the cytotoxicity of Aβ oligomers.
